There are a few vending machines per block around here, not kidding, they are everywhere! One of the first things I consumed in Japan was an espresso from the vending machine outside our building. It came out hot and in a cute little can, which made me giggle. It was actually pretty good! Here is Dylan with a baby kangaroo tucked in his jacket next to our vending machine:
We are off to Kyoto on the bullet train this afternoon - really looking forward to spending our first weekend there. For the sake of traveling light, I'm not sure that I will bring my blogging gear with me, so may have to store up the good adventures to write about when I get back.
